Something always brings me back to you
It never takes too long
No matter what I say or do
I still feel you here 'til the moment I'm gone
You hold me without touch
You keep me without chains
I never wanted anything so much
Than to drown in your love and not feel your rain
Set me free, leave me be
I don't wanna fall another moment into your gravity
Here I am and I stand so tall
I'm just the way I'm supposed to be
But you're on to me and all over me
You loved me 'cause I'm fragile
When I thought that I was strong
But you touch me for a little while
And all my fragile strength is gone
Set me free, leave me be
I don't wanna fall another moment into your gravity
Here I am and I stand so tall
I'm just the way I'm supposed to be
But you're on to me and all over me
I live here on my knees
As I try to make you see
That you're everything I think I need
Here on the ground
But you're neither friend nor foe
Though I can't seem to let you go
The one thing that I still know
Is that you're keeping me down
You're keeping me down
You're on to me, on to me and all over
Something always brings me back to you
It never takes too long

Thunderstorms
I love thunderstorms. Plain and simple. They make me want to curl up in bed, listen to the rain against my window and the thunder chrashing outside and fall asleep. When it thunderstorms at night I feel especially lucky because I can do just that, in fact I did last night. Right as I was falling asleep last night it started to pour rain, lightning and thunder. I couldn't have been more content with my life at that moment.
I dont know why but I think that thunderstorm allowed me to relax for once in long time. I woke up this morning smiling. When my alarm went off at 8am I shot up out of bed positive I was late for work. Thankfully I realized before I got to the bathroom it was Tuesday. I don't have class until 9:30. I actually laughed and got right back into bed.
Finally got up at 9 ate breakfast, put in my laundry, got dressed in what clean clothes I had left (a zip up sports jacket and black exercise pants.. my stomach was slightly showing but whatever its movement class right??...) and went to class. My teacher called my name, looked at me and said wow you have a beautiful smile today! You look very happy for some reason! That made my day :-) I'd like to thank last night's wreckless thunderstorm for the smile on my face today.

Shoes
I went shoe shopping yesterday. I had set out to buy a new pair of white leather keds seeing as how I have practically ruined the ones I have now. So I went into Shoe Carnival with the intentions of just buying those shoes and leaving. Well, I just happened to forget what wide array of shoes they had in their store... PROBLEM! I stumbled upon a pair of plaid polo shoes for $20 so of course I had to buy them along with the pair of keds I found. Anyways I am wearing these wonderful shoes today and I feel like a new person!!
Cherish the little things in life like a new pair of shoes :-)

Lessons for Life
This is an email I was sent and I thought it has some really good stuff in it so I'm sharing it with you...
1. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.2. Memorize your favorite poem.
3. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have, or loaf all you want.
4. When you say, "I love you," mean it.
5. When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye.
6. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
7. Believe in love at first sight.
8. Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
9. Love deeply and passionately. You may get hurt, but it's the only way to live life completely.
10. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name-calling.
11. Don't judge people by their relatives, or by the life they were born into.
12. Teach yourself to speak slowly but think quickly.
13. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"
14. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
15. Call your mother.
16. Say, "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.
17. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
18. Follow the three Rs: Respect for self, Respect for others, Responsibility for all your actions.

20. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

22. Marry a person you love to talk to. As you get older, his/her conversational skills will be even more important.
23. Spend some time alone.
24. Open your arms to change but don't let go of your values.
25. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
26. Read more books. Television is no substitute.

Honey and Milk
When I think of forever I think of May when I graduate and get a job. I have always known I wanted to have a family but had never thought it would happen to me before like my mid 20's. Im not sure why but it just has never crossed my mind. So when presented with the question of children and a family I kind of freeze up. I guess it was just a completely new thought that someone would actually want to have a family with me.
I did some thinking and I discovered I would love to have a family and children and that it's not a crazy idea to think it could happen to me as soon as I wanted. It's a good feeling, knowing that I want to be a mom to have a family with a loving hubby :) shalom!

One long night.
After a wonderful day spent with my family and this cool guy I like I ventured home for what I thought was going to be a great nights rest. I was so tired. I pull up..ahh home sweet home... OH there is someone in my parking spot.. GREAT.. so I back it down to park on the street. I hike it up the hill in my exhausted state to my apartment. Ahh bed finally. I lay down and fall asleep immediately.
OK so my body is asleep but my mind must have taken an energy drink before I laid down. I first had a dream about the guy I spent the afternoon with. No complaints there. Then the rest of the night was spent dreaming about how I missed work, my test today, failed to write a paper, missed an appointment, and all of my classes. Shew talk about waking up exhausted.
My alarm went off at 7 this morning. I woke up and realized that it was all just a dream. Ughh I slumped back down for an extra 20min of sleep. Totally not enough. My allergies are kicking my butt and the worst part is that the whole stressful day I just dreamt about is actually happening I'm just not missing anything. O well this is life I just put on a smile and head to work!

Great Success
Yesterday my roommate and I decided we were going to go camping.. just the two of us. Bonding at its finest. We had been planning this trip all week so when Friday rolled around I was ready to go and forget about the stressful week I had. Well little did we know this simple camping trip was going to be more than we bargained for...
Around 2pm it started to downpour but, not to worry, it was supposed to blow over so we just decided to pack up and go as planned to my grandma's land. Well I call to let her know we are on our way and she has the biggest fit in the world about 'No Fire!' and 'people just showing up.' So this left us packed with no place to go. We run inside and find a place in Bardstown then head out.
Today: we got up, went to my old kentucky home, heaven hill, nature, my gmas, home for dinner. now nap! perfect end to a perfectly funny weekend! Great Success. Great times with great friends and lots of laughter! Sherry 43!

On our way we get stuck in 30min of traffic before we even get out of town. Finally relief we get moving, 13miles out of Bardstown we see a wreck. Perfect. We sit there for 30 more minutes then finally make it to the site. Shew... ok. We get out our stuff and get my tent out...O my gosh it is made for a small child... so off to walmart to buy another tent. We make it back and I get started on the fire while she sets up her tent. The fire won't start... AWESOME..
Reghann tries and I try for about 30 min. We decide it is not something we can give up on.. Our problem, we needed a beer. Got the beer out, bug spray, and a prayer from Reghann 'Dear Jesus, light this fire. Amen' and we were set. The fire lit and we were all prepared finally for the night ahead. We had a few beers and went to sleep.
